These Terms constitute a binding contract between the Customer and Genesis Power Systems Pty Ltd . The Customer acknowledges agreement and acceptance of these Terms by making a purchase and or placing an order on our website .Kindly note : Our Terms and conditions are subject to possible change/s without prior notice.

Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice include VAT .
Please note that some of the photos and images on our website are for illustrative purposes only – product photos used are as accurate as possible taken from our manufacturers . We make no representations about the suitability of the information and graphics presented on this site. All such documents and graphics are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
Shipping :
We typically ship within 1 business day after your order has been placed with us excluding weekends & public holidays ; however we aim at dispatching orders same day if possible .
You will receive a shipping confirmation email (with a tracking number) as soon as your order has been processed and shipped.
Delivery is free unless otherwise stated and is calculated if required by our shopping cart BEFORE YOU PAY FOR YOUR ORDER .
We use COURIERS to deliver your goods to your door.
This is overnight ( next business day service) to major centres – (2-3 days add for REGIONAL / OUTLYING areas ) .
Delivery times are estimates only and we shall not be liable for any delays caused by the courier company.
ITEMS ARE ONLY DESPATCHED once we have received your proof of payment reflecting in our FNB BANK ACCOUNT .
FREE SHIPPING does not apply to the reshipping of in or out of warranty repairs – we will however offer free shipping to goods that may have to be replaced due to faulty /damaged or incorrect item/s delivered to the customer .
Refunds , returns , cancellation and exchange policy :
Refunds :
If a product is no longer available or out of stock when you purchase ,we will offer a full refund for the product/s once your payment has reflected in our FNB BANK ACCOUNT .
If you purchase a product that is on Back Order then E.T.A ‘ s for delivery may vary due to the item/s having to come from our supplier warehouses overseas .
If an ordered product is listed at an incorrect price, we shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and a full refund will be given if you decide not to pay the difference in price between the ordered price and the correct price of the product/s after you have been notified .
Returns , Warranties and cancellations :

If you are not satisfied with your purchase , you can return the product to us and we will either refund , repair/replace it subject to the following :
You can return your purchases for a refund (excl shipping) provided you inform us within 7 days of you receiving the delivery of your order based on the following :
– Item exchange (ordered incorrect item and will be purchasing correct item from our website .
– Faulty on arrival
– Incorrect item/s received
PLEASE NOTE : Please re-package safely and SECURELY – include all original product packaging.
All products will either be replaced/repaired/refunded . We will evaluate the returned product/s and inform our customers if the claim is valid and can be accepted by us . If the item being returned is found to be working properly , we will reship the item back to our customers and a re-shipping fee will apply which must be paid before we re dispatch the item . We will inform the customer via email of the cost .
Some refund claims may need that the product/s be sent to supplier for testing. This can take up to 2 weeks and once a refund has been approved, this may take an additional 3 – 5 business days to be processed.
Warranties :
All items are covered by our individual product manufacturer warranty periods listed under our products .
In warranty period repairs : No charge , however , the customer is liable for the shipping charges
Out of warranty period items : Customers are responsible for all charges , including shipping and repair /Replacement ,
including the repair assessment fee of R575 .We will notify the customer of the price on repair/replacement and shipping .
Product tampering :
Note : If the product warranty sticker has been tampered with our removed , or is not present on an item, the warranty is immediately null and void.
Note : GEL, AGM and LEAD ACID cell batteries have limited cycle capacity . These are typically around +-220 cycles and may reach its end of life before the end of the manufacturer warranty period due to abnormal high usage and we will not replace the battery/ies .
Therefore it is strongly suggested your order from our Lithium LifePO4 battery range ensuring you have many years of battery usage from your purchase .
Genesis Power Systems reserves the right to refuse a refund if the item is damaged from misuse, items are missing or if the product is altered in any way.
In addition , the warranty will no longer be valid under the following points listed below :
- Electricity fluctuations and surges, lightning strikes, faults in the building wiring, faulty installations, and improper use of controls
- Failure to use the product in accordance with the operating instructions and or general misuse and or abuse
- Damage caused by a superior force (vis maior) or if the product has been infested with insects or pests
- If the product is physically damaged after it left the store
- If water or liquid caused the damage to the product
- Any repair or tampering by an unauthorized person or attempt to repair or tamper with the equipment, or use of parts not supplied by authorized agents, or alterations or modification to the equipment shall render the warranty null and void.
